Your AI readiness
–ExploringReady to pilotReady to scale
The groundwork isn’t there yet, and that’s normal. Start with one process and the data behind it before buying tools. A short look at your work will show where AI pays off, and where a better spreadsheet would do.
You have enough in place for a focused pilot. Pick one task with real volume and a number to improve, and measure it on your own data before anyone relies on it.
You’re ready to put AI into daily operations. The work now is connecting it to your systems, monitoring accuracy and cost, and extending it one process at a time.

Where to focus first
Data
Get the data for one process into one place. A clean export from your ERP or a single shared spreadsheet is enough to start: AI can only work with what it can reach.
Process
Pick one process and write down its steps, its owner and one number to improve, such as time per invoice or replies per day. That number becomes the pilot’s measure of success.
People
Give your staff a short, practical session on using AI safely with their own tasks. It is the cheapest way to raise use, and the EU AI Act already requires it.
Governance
Write a one-page AI policy: which data may go to which tools, who approves new tools, and where that is recorded. Keeping your data in the EU makes most of this simpler.
Ownership
Name one person in the business who owns the first project and has a few hours a week for it. Projects without an owner rarely go live.
A good first project
Check supplier invoices against myDATA automatically, so your accountants only see the mismatches, and have monthly management reports ready on day one of the new month.
Process KYC and claims documents in minutes, and give staff instant answers on internal policy with the source attached. Documented with DORA and the AI Act in mind.
Reply to guests in their own language, connected to your booking system, and analyse reviews to see what guests love and what keeps going wrong.
Pull key terms out of charter parties, bills of lading and invoices automatically, and let the team ask questions across vessel and voyage documentation.
Spot the customers to win back before they leave, forecast demand to keep the right stock, and keep product listings clean without manual editing.
Get new tenders on ΕΣΗΔΗΣ and Diavgeia spotted for you, checked against your eligibility, with the compliance checklist already drafted.
Start with the most repetitive document or data task in your team’s week: one process, measured on your own data, live in weeks.
For the problems you picked
An assistant that reads invoices, emails and forms and enters the data for you. Your people only review the exceptions.
An assistant over your company’s documents that answers questions and shows where each answer came from.
Reports and management packs that build themselves from your data, with a short written summary of what changed and why.
An analysis of sales, CRM, support tickets and reviews that shows who your best customers are, who is likely to leave, and what people keep complaining about.
Take the pilot from demo to daily use: tested on your real data, with its accuracy measured before anyone relies on it.
An engineer who joins your team for as long as the project needs, then hands everything over so you are not dependent on anyone.
Find the tasks where AI saves real time, connect it to your documents and tools, and train the team to use it day to day.
Keep your data in the EU, in your own account, with the documentation GDPR and the EU AI Act ask for.
